Originally from a farming background in Crossbarry. I’m currently renting in Atkins Hall on the Lee Road.
I studied law in University College Cork, and trained as a barrister at the King’s Inns in Dublin. I now work as a barrister in Cork with an office just near Singers Corner on Washington Street. In my work I advise and advocate for people when they have relationship difficulties, problems in work, or when they’ve suffered an injury.
I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Mardyke Arena, UCC & Board of Management of St. Marie of the Isles Primary School. I volunteer with the Free Legal Advice Centre in Blackpool and Cornmarket Street. I fundraised for Down Syndrome Ireland by cycling the Tour de Munster in 2016, and for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind by running the Dublin Marathon in 2017. I’m also an enthusiastic cyclist and yogi.
